Qualifications for Adults
These courses are centred on building self-esteem and confidence for anyone who has found themselves out of the workplace for a period of time, for whatever reason. The courses are delivered with a relaxed approach to enable people to feel at ease, as we recognise that coming into a new environment might be daunting.
YG offers NOCN accredited short courses in:
- Nail Art – certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (SETPD).
- Creative Arts – certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (SETPD).
- Creative Cosmetics – entry-level 3 certificate in Independent living- Looking after yourself and your home.

No. There will be a portfolio of work that you will need to complete but the writing element is kept to a minimum. A lot of the evidence collected will be practical and your tutor will complete witness statements on your behalf.
