Who is it for?

The Link is able to offer support to 16-25 year olds who are facing challenges in their lives. The Link can offer advice and support in all aspects of your life from housing and relationships to finance. Really if there is anything in your life that you are unhappy about then we are a good place to start.

Whether you are not working or have job you don't enjoy, are struggling at school or having money troubles. Perhaps you have fallen out with family or friends are feeling blue or stuck in a rut. We know life is complicated and doesn't always take you in the direction you want it to. The Link is your first step towards feeling happier and making positive changes.

What can you expect?

The Link is a shop on the high street in Gloucester that we have turned into a cosy drop in; with lovely sofas, big round tables, computers to access the Internet, job papers and lots of free cups of tea!

When you first call into The Link you’ll find our friendly team of staff, who will offer to sit down and have a chat with you about what you want to achieve. Together you will set tasks and goals and the staff in The Link will help you to make them happen.

We will be able to support you in a number of ways; we have specialist workers in drugs and alcohol and mental health. We can provide one-to-one support for those who need it and we are also able to offer short qualifications like first aid, manual handling, CSCS cards, and functional skills in Maths and English, employability.
