Support the mental and physical wellbeing of young people and their families in Gloucestershire
YG invites you to Network with Youth workers across Gloucestershire

If you work with young people in Gloucestershire this event is for you.

1 March 2016

This event is taking place on March 16th at Young Gloucestershire’s Offices. This year the event is exploring the subject of Mental Health. We will be looking at it from 4 perspectives in relation to how we can help young people stay well, manage the symptoms, provide opportunities for them to express themselves and stay healthy. The workshops will cover the following:

  • Self Harm, how to spot the signs
  • What services are out there for young people and how can they be accessed
  • How the arts and sport can help young people with their mental health

The workshops are being facilitate by Teens in Crisis, 2gether Trust NHS and Infobuzz. This is a great opportunity for youth workers, support staff and volunteers to come and find out about this very important issue. 1 in 10 children and young people suffer from a mental health issue. So do come along and find out more about how you can help your young people, you will also have the opportunity to network with other providers.
