The detail

The youth work apprenticeship is:
* A level three qualification
* Completed over a minimum of 12 months
* Apprentices will work a minimum of 30 hours in a youth work role (with 6 of those allocated to training/qualification)
* The assessment includes practical delivery, written assignments, observations and an end point assessment.

The Logistics

* If you are an individual looking to undertake an apprenticeship you need to find an employer who is able to employ you for a minimum of 30 hours and willing to support you through the training.
* If you are already employed in an organisation working 30+ hours and your employer is willing to support you, then get in touch.
* If you are an employer who has existing staff you would like to train, then get in touch.
* If you are an employer who would like to recruit to a new post and would like to explore this as an apprenticeship role then get in touch

The training is free as we can draw down apprenticeship levy to fund the training.

Entry Requirements

To qualify to enter the apprenticeship you need to:
* Have experience working with young people
* Not have undertaken a level 3 or equivalent training previously
* Be employed in a role a minimum of 30 hours
* Have an employer who is willing and able to support the training
* Be able to attend face to face training
