Support the mental and physical wellbeing of young people and their families in Gloucestershire
Engage

Tells you all about what is happening in youth provision across the County

3 March 2016

The final touches are being put to the Engage Newsletter as I write and it will be arriving in your inboxes soon. It was a real joy to speak to some of the partner clubs about their work when I was looking for stories to include in this edition. It was really useful to talk to you about the work you are doing. The articles in this edition show the diverse and interesting ways in which the needs of young people are being met and I hope it inspires you to continue making a difference to the lives of the young people you work with.

The Newsletter also has a contribution from all the staff as Young Gloucestershire. We spent a day as a staff team putting together a calendar of activities which we are delivering. Each month we have a theme and have created session plans for each theme that can be tailored to the needs of different types of youth work. The calendar of activities can be used in youth clubs to raise awareness amongst the young people around religious and cultural events as well as highlighting a range of issues that affect young people. The activities are all arranged into months so its like a virtual programme of activities and events that you can select from and start planning for. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this further.

You will also notice that the Newsletter has a fresh new look to it I hope you like it and let us know what you think.
