Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people. They include depression, anxiety, stress, loss and anger, and are often a direct response to what is happening in our lives. Linked Up can help.

Who is it for?

You might not be sure if you need help with your 'mental health', you might just be feeling a bit blue or overwhelmed. Or perhaps you have received a diagnosis and you don't know what happens next. Linked Up is able to offer practical and emotional support to 16-25 year olds facing challenges with their mental and emotional wellbeing. If your mental health is starting to have an impact on your day-to-day life, it may be a good time to get in touch. 

What can you expect?

Linked Up offers 1:1 support to help you achieve a better understanding of mental illness, practical ways of coping and an overall improvement of your wellbeing. The support will be based around your needs and is informal. It might start out with a phone call and move on to a chat over a cup of tea. We go at your pace and you will be able to access cognitive behavioral therapy (talking therapy) or creative arts therapy.

How to get involved?

Our mental health youth worker is available in The Link Monday-Friday 11-4pm.

The project is delivered in partnership with our sister charity Infobuzz. Together we offer counselling and additional practical support to make changes in your life that will have a positive impact on or mental health and wellbeing.
