Link Chat was launched during the Covid-19 lock down and has proved a huge success so we will be continuing to offer practical and mental health support to young people from a distance.
During the Covid-19 crisis, lock down meant we had to shut our doors and although we have started to reopen again, we are some way off being able to welcome the numbers of young people we would like to see back in to The Link.
What is Link Chat?
Link Chat matches you with a Youth Worker who will give you regular telephone or online calls each week. Together you can discuss anything you like. Whether that's personal goals and aims that you want to work towards or just how you are feeling that week.
The conversation is driven by you and our Youth Workers are here to offer advice, guidance and a friendly ear. Together you may decide to set yourself goals or things to achieve before you next chat. It could be as simple as taking up a new hobby, getting up at a regular time or it might be longer term goals such as completing some online training.
We are hear to motivate, inspire and support.
Who's it for?
The service is for 16-25 year olds living in Gloucestershire
