We strive to keep our costs down but our quality high so that young people get the best experience whilst working with us.
Young Gloucestershire is funded from a number of sources, including various grants and contracts. However the uncertain nature of a lot of charitable income means that donations from individuals, businesses and Trusts & Foundations make a real difference enabling us to continue our valuable work with young people.
There are lots of ways you can give a little or a lot to YG - and some of them won't cost you a penny.
Ask for a Collection Tin
Perhaps you work in a shop or café, or maybe you are just sick of collecting your old coppers in that dusty glass jar at home. Well then let us give you a collection tin, you can put it pride of place and let the coppers roll in. Just email and we'll send you one out.
Gloucester Lottery is an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Gloucester. Tickets cost just £1 per week with a top prize of £25,000! If you buy your tickets through Young Gloucestershire’s page then 50% of the cost of your ticket will come straight to YG. Everyone’s a winner (fingers crossed).
Amazon Smile enables you to donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products on Amazon to Young Gloucestershire. Shopping on Amazon Smile works exactly the same way as it does on amazon.co.uk. Simply log in via smile.amazon.co.uk and select your chosen charity. Your shopping list, wish lists, and all other account information will be the same as usual. It costs you nothing, but gives us a little something.
Giveacar is a not for profit social enterprise that can turn your car into cash for Young Gloucestershire. They will arrange a free collection from your home at a time that is convenient for you. Your car will then be auctioned or scrapped and the proceeds, minus admin fees, will be donated back to us. To find out more visit the website.
