We are always on the look-out for projects in the community such as gardening or painting.
We have the manpower and the tools to be able to make a difference in a short space of time, helping you to get the job done and providing valuable experience for our young people.
Not only do the young people plan and complete the project, they will also resource it. This is done by means of fundraising, or getting local companies to donate items to enable them to complete the work.
Past projects have included; cultivating community gardens, re-decorating community buildings and re-vamping forestry foot paths.
“We have really enjoyed having groups at the farm. Having young people come in and take over a project like cultivating the community allotment is amazing! It has been great to see the transformation they have made, both to the farm and to themselves.” Karen Bicknell, St James City Farm - Manager.
