Youth Worker (Mental Health)

Brief Description:

This role will form a team within Young Gloucestershire that provides face to face, one to one therapeutic and practical support to young people aged 15-25 with low mental health and wellbeing. Providing practical support to young people to address the challenges in their lives. Ensuring long term sustainable outcomes for young people. The team will work with young people from across the county both travelling to them in community settings and working from a central office hub.


Full Time (37.5 hours)

Due to the nature and pressing need of the work you will be required to work such hours as are necessary for the full and effective performance of your duties, including evening and weekend work. Residential activity may be expected to be undertaken within the contract and TOIL will not be given for this.

This role will primarily be based on working between 9-7pm Monday-Thursday and 9-5 Friday.

£20,305 - £22,000 pro rata depending on experience
