Bespoke Youth Worker (Lead)

Brief Description:
  • To build relationships within the local community and schools to develop new programmes.
  • Plan, design, implement and deliver bespoke programmes for young people.
  • To roll out existing programmes (including residentials) to underrepresented target groups such as: SEN, Alternative provision, NEET and ethnic minority groups across the county.
  • Attend community events, meetings, stands, parent’s evenings and assemblies to promote programmes.
  • Liaise with schools, funders, agencies and community groups to develop and deliver new services.
Hours:
Due to the nature and pressing need of the work you will be required to work such hours as are necessary for the full and effective performance of your duties, including evening and weekend work.  The normal working week is 37½ hours. Residential activity is required to be undertaken within the contract and TOIL will not be given for this.
Salary:
£20,000 to £24,000 subject to experience
