Youth Volunteering
- The Youth Volunteering team is driving youth volunteering within the county. If you're between 16 and 25 we can help you find the ideal volunteering placement for you, whether it is a one-off event or a regular commitment to suit your lifestyle
- If you work for an organisation that uses volunteers, or wants to use volunteers, then we can help you create and market volunteering opportunities suitable for young people.
Prince’s Trust
- The Team Programme is for UK residents aged 16-25 who are unemployed. It's free and will not affect your Jobseeker's Allowance. It's ideal for those whose lack of confidence or qualifications are holding them back.
Achieve
- Achieve is our own 6 week development programme for 16-25 year olds who are not in employment, education or training. It focuses on building your confidence and teamworking skills, as well as helping you gain recognised qualifications in key skills. Unfortunately, we are not currently running any Achieve Programmes, but watch this space.
Youth Development Team
- The Youth Development Team works across the county to provide young people with things to do and places to go. If you're looking for something local to do in the weekends, evenings, or school holidays then the youth development team may have something for you; whether it be a youth club, BMX classes, archery, football leagues, dance competitions, and much more. Or if you think that there is a need for more activities for young people around you, and have an idea of what is needed, then contact the team, who may be able to help you set it up.
Youth Achievement Foundation
- The Youth Achievement Foundation is a alternative education project for 14 to 16 year olds who do not get on in mainstream schools. It offers you recognised qualificaitons equivalent to GCSES, but focuses more on you and your vocational interests - sport, dance, cooking, media, and much more.
