Working together with the county's youth clubs

Becoming a Partner Youth Club

Young Gloucestershire are pleased to re-launch their youth club affiliation scheme, offering local youth clubs an opportunity to not just affiliate themselves with YG but to become an active member through the Young Gloucestershire Partnership scheme.

YG believe we need to work together with the county’s youth clubs in order to ensure the highest standard of delivery to the county’s young people.

The new partnership clearly outlines the commitment required from both parties.

Young Gloucestershire offers its partners:

  • Access to subsidised insurance premiums and CRB checks.

  • Support and guidance to establish policies and procedures in order to run a youth club.

  • Networking and training opportunities.

  • County wide field trips.

  • Innovative session ideas.

  • Newsletters and information about all the opportunities available in the county and nationally.

  • Access to a safeguarding support phone line, for advice and guidance.

In return partner clubs will be expected to:

  • Work with and remain in contact with YG, providing information and records as appropriate.

  • Support staff and volunteers to attend relevant training and ensure they are CRB checked.

  • Meet the legal requirements of delivering a youth club, including developing policies and procedures as required and obtaining suitable insurance coverage.

If you organise or run a club for young people and would like more information about the Youth Club Partnership scheme please get in touch, Young Gloucestershire are happy to visit clubs to discuss the new partnership and any additional support your club may require.
